The Milan Suite at Moat House

Happy Positive: My 3rd time staying at Moat house . I find it warm cosy and very clean . Very central for myself with no car

I would definitely stay again. Positive: It was very convenient. Very handy for food options in Rawtenstall. And I could almost see the Kay’s chip shop that I visit when in the area ( I get sweet and sour fish bites with half chips and half rice).Nice decoration. Had almost everything I needed. Negative: My room had 3 dining style chairs but a more comfortable one would have been nice. A bigger chopping board and bread knife in the kitchen area would be nice. The one board was very tiny, not really big enough to even cut up a bread roll. I really really struggled to open the key safe both at the beginning and end of my stay.

Well kept modern great location Positive: Very clean fresh smelling. Kitchen and bathroom finished to a high standard Negative: Very soft bed personal choice. Towels could be bigger

Stayed at the Moat House in the Milan Suite during the recent festive period. We had a very comfortable stay at this well appointed establishment. The only concern we had was that we would have preferred a bed larger than the standard double bed that was in situe, which was tucked up against the wall making it less roomy. All the other facilities were of a high standard. The hosts do have larger suites but we're not available for the period we required so we were lucky they were able to accommodate us with this alternative. We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.
