The Venice Suite at Moat House

A comfortable, restful stay in a well appointed Air BnB Rawtenstall Air BnB Positive: The Venice Suite was spacious & comfortable, nicely appointed obviously recently renovated and, most importantly, it was toasty warm!! Lovely views from our windows, and we gratefully used the much needed washer in the utility room. The location was great too, just a short walk to my relatives. Negative: The stairs were challenging for us seniors with 2 medium but heavy suitcase. Fortunately, a kind gentleman was coming out of his room as I was struggling with mine & took it up for me. I should add that we were in England & Wales visiting from Canada for 19 days & had brought warm clothes & waterproofs for our tour, thankfully!

Five star Positive: Comfortable and clean Negative: Nothing

Positive: I liked the design of the place and the homely feel Negative: The place was cold and the radiators weren't working. The house rules book said to turn the dial on the radiators however it still didn't work. Then to top it off there was no hot water so I couldn't even have a nice hot shower. Very disappointing

We stay here when we are in Rawtenstall and will stay again Positive: Location is fantastic Negative: The beds are a little tired and saggy

Very clean accommodation in the centre of the town - convenient and perfect for a short stay, Thanks Positive: Comfortable apartment which was extremely clean. Very good location ie in the centre of Rawtenstall and near to the bus station (with access into Manchester if required). We managed to find a space in the near-by car park to leave the car overnight for free. Very good communication from the hosts who gave ample opportunity for us to raise and issues or ask for help if needed. We would definitely use again.
